BSNL HQ vide F.No. 111-23/93/T-II/Part-III date 13.05.2009 has approved revision of Telegraph Tariff w.e.f. 16.05.2009 in Managing Committee Meeting held on 17.03.2009.
a) All telegrams shall be booked only in one category i.e. Express Telegrams.
b) Minimum word count shall be 30 words.
c) Revised tariff is Rs.25.00 up to 30 words for all telegrams, i.e. express telegrams and Re. 1.00 for each extra word beyond 30 words.
BSNL HQ Vide No: 21-1/2008/T-1 dated 13.05.2009 has delegated powers to CGMS to convert other types of Telegraph Offices including Telecom Centers into Customer Service Center.
With this, powers stand delegated to field CGMS to convert Central Telegraph Offices, telegraph Offices and Telecom Centre into Customer Service Centre wherever gainful utilization is possible in the interest of BSNL.
