ANNOUNCEMENT OF ADHOC ADVANCE BY BSNL
Unilateral announcement of inadequate advance by BSNL management has created a sense of anger and protest through out the country. BSNL Workers Alliance has already served the Strike Notice and Notice for hunger Strike which holds good. In the meanwhile we will observe the developments and take appropriate decision in due course. Our Circle/District Secretaries may circulate the contents of Strike Notice, our demand etc and prepare the members for the action programme.

30.04.2009: To-Day, BSNL HQ issued unilateral orders for four months basic as interest free adjustable advance vide No: 1-22/2009-PAT (BSNL) Dated 30.04.2009. The pay as on 01.01.2009 will be taken as base for counting the advance. The Employees shall be asked to give undertaking for permitting its adjustment in final wage revision arrears which is due from 01.01.2007.
