During the week we discussed and pursued various issues communicated earlier relating to BSNL Interest, Issues of our executives, and day to day operation issues faced by our field officers with concerned senior officers in circle office. The details status and progress is as under.
(1) For retention of JTOs on promotion to SDE in 67% quota who are transferred to other circle, it was told that Hon’ble CGM has written letter to Hon’ble Director (HRD) BSNL New-Delhi for retention in Gujarat and further we will also pursue the same at Central Head quarter.
(2) Clearing Waiting list of all executive cadres of various wings to be considered at the earliest.
(3) Expedite settlement of pay anomaly cases.
(4) Fixation of JTOs who has become regular JTOs after 1.1.2007 as per 2nd Pay revision committee. Instruction will be issued shortly.
(5) In recent past our DoTSOFT servers are getting faulty for weeks together in Rajkot and Surat, due to which our CSC staff and customers are facing lot of problems. Same situation prevails in other SSAs, i.e. despite life of server has already expired and there is no AMC also in case of fault. The issue was discussed and it was decided that immediate action will be taken to avoid such incidences in future with installation of new server at SSAs, or AMC of all server or centralized installation of new server with Disaster Recovery servers.
(6) In changed scenario of closer of SAHAJ server in ERP, it was discussed that sufficient users should be made available such that ERP can be directly accessed by counter clerk in CSC, and all other wings who are using ERP in day to day working with their own privilege instead of sharing one user account. Use of ERP by counter clerk will prevent lot of manual work between Commercial Officer and Counter clerks and also avoid non standard practice of taking non-DoTSOFT payment for postpaid SIM.
(7) At present in CSC, separate counters are working for landline, mobile etc, because “kennon” software is available on mobile counters. A technical solution was discussed by implementation of which on all DoTSOFT terminal “kennon” also will be available and CAF entry can be directly done from CSC itself thereby reducing provisioning time and duplication of entry in two systems which will save man power at different level.
(8) Field officer has to collect bills for payment to GUVNL for BTS of mobile, WLL and number of small exchanges. It was decided to submit a proposal to GUVNL for one bill of SSA / SDCA. Matter will be communicated to GUVNL and will be pursued by us.
