Subject: Outsourcing of diesel filling including its transportation at BTS sites.
There have been a number of references stating limitations to control BTS outage on account of non-availability of power supply. DG Sets are run for long hours and diesel filling specially in rural and remote areas becomes a challenge.
2. In view of above, the undersigned has been directed to intimate that CGMs are authorized to go for outsourcing of diesel filling including its transportation, if internal resources are inadequate. Cluster of BTS may be formed based on road connectivity and administration convenience.
3. This has approval of Director (CM), BSNL Board.
