Sub : Austerity measures in BSNL
Respected Sir,
In view of the austerity measures announced by Central Government due to
drought in the country, on behalf of All India Bharat Sanchar Nigam Executive’s
Association, Gujarat Circle, Ahmedabad, I request your kind honour to announce
austerity measures in spending for Senior Executives while traveling on tour /
meetings etc. looking to the financial condition of BSNL. The Senior Executives
may be asked to travel in “economy class” instead of ‘business class” during air
travel. Other officers eligible for air travel may be asked to travel in train wherever
overnight journey is there. Meetings conducted by BSNL in Hotels or other place
may be stopped and it should be held in the Conference Rooms of BSNL.
The above measures if implemented, a sizeable amount spent on travel / tours /
meetings etc. can be saved.
I am sure your goodself will issue suitable orders in this regard.
