Subject: - Fasting Programme of BSNLEU, WB Circle------Intimation thereof.
Respected Sir,
With a wrathful and malicious mind I would like to draw your kind attention and also like to
narrate a few words on the subject mentioned above.
You are already aware of the fact that the BSNL Corporate Office authority has announced
almost a battle against the justified demands like settlement of Wage Revision, implementation of Promotion
Policies, settlement of Anomaly Cases etc. of the Non Executives. On the contrary the same BSNL CO
Authority has already issued payment order of arrear 60% of the revised wage to the Executives.
It is observed that the BSNL Authority is taking vindictive attitude against the Non executive
Employees and paying a deaf ear to the demands of the only recognized Union i.e. BSNL Employees Union.
As a result the non executive workers of BSNL are getting impatient day by day which may hamper the
normalcy and harmonious relationship in the working spots in near future.
A meeting of the Circle Office Bearers of BSNL Employees Union West Bengal Circle, which
was held on 07th October, 2009 has decided to counter the ignorance of the management towards the
settlement of the demands of the Non Executive Employees of BSNL. The Circle Office Bearers, Circle
Council Members and the District secretaries will sit on fasting in front of your chamber on 12th October,
2009 from 0900 Hours against the indifferent attitude of the Authority towards BSNL Employees Union and
to achieve our goal. It is also decided that the BSNL Employees Union will organize demonstration
programme throughout the Circle on that day and will send Telegram to the Circle Authority for early
settlement of our demands
Hope that you will be present in your chamber on 12th and convey our resentment towards the
attitude of the Corporate Office Authority. We want settlement of our demands within no time.
