Wage Meeting on 23-12-2009
The wage committee met on 23-12-2009 and discussed the following:
1. After much discussion it was agreed by official side that the span may be increased to ensure 30% fitment, promotion and to avoid stagnation.
2. The management agreed to the demand of the staff side to implement Maternity leave, Child care leave etc. as per Central Govt. orders.
3. Professional upgradation Allowance @ 2% of basic pay will be granted.
4. It was agreed that the 50% IDA merger for pensioners, pension revision and anomaly in pension will be perused by the management with DOT.
5. The staff side insisted that the wages of Casual and Contract Labor should be fixed along with this wage revision.
6. Management wanted that the uniform be abolished. Staff side insisted for continuation of the Uniform supply.
The next meeting will be held on 29-12-2009 to finalize and sign agreement.
