Concessional Tariff for Broadband Connection for Educational Institutes for bulk requirement
in Rural areas where USOF subsidy is available.

Concessional Broadband connection against bulk requirement to Educational Institutions (Govt. Schools) in Rural areas under Plan – 1500 with 512 Kbps Bandwidth Speed where USOF subsidy is available . BB Plan-1500 was initially launched in Rural areas with a bandwidth speed of 256 Kbps. The features of the approved concessional Plan 1500 with revised Bandwidth Speed are as follows:

2. The concessional tariff offer with provision of unlimited usage is subject to fair usage of the facility by the schools for Educational purposes only .

3. The Broadband Connections for all the Govt. Schools shall be taken by the State Govt. from BSNL only, wherever BSNL is in a position to provide the connections.

4. All other conditions mentioned in the earlier instructions shall remain unchanged.
