Sub: Service breakdown in CRM/PMS/CLARITY application in entire South Zone reg:

Sir,

CDR project has been implemented in 52 SSAs out of 70 SSAs in South Zone so far. Since 28-02-11, the performance of the Applications in respect of speed is very very slow and all SSAs are brought to the notice of ITPC, Data Centre, South. Unfortunately, since 11:30 hrs of 03-03-2011 till date, the CRM application which deals with Commercial and TR activities is not at all available in the entire South Zone, adversely affecting services. The field units are not able to handle the pressure from the aggrieved customers because of continuing system failure.

As on today, another serious breakdown has occurred i.e PMS, which deals with Payment acceptance and CLARITY (Order Management System) is also down. All SSAs are facing tremendous pressure and unable to do even single transaction. This situation is seriously creating dissatisfaction among the aggrieved customers at a time when AP Circle has started showing visible and perceptible signs of positive growth and users have clear option to migrate to other operators. We do not know whether Director(CFA) is even aware of this serious development, and, if it all, by chance he is, what steps has he initiated.

Your kind personal intervention is requested to warn the concerned Director to get fully involved in his area of activity to ensure that almost day to day serious breakdowns which are almost taking place at regular intervals and fast eroding customer base immediately stop. He should immediately depute GM (IT) and other concerned officers to Hyderabad and ask them to camp there till such frequent breakdowns stop.
