Subject: Launch of alternative new Tariff Plans /add-on tariff packages for prospective/existing BSNL Fixed Line customers
in SSAs having CDR based billing system-reg.
The  Competent Authority  has decided to introduce the following alternative new  Tariff Plans for BSNL fixed line
customers in  SSAs having CDR based billing system.  Launch of these tariff packages in the Circles are optional. CGMs are
authorized to implement one or more of these plans in their  Circles. However, CGM may modify any plan based on local
market condition after getting approval from Corporate Office. The tariff of these new / Add-on tariff packages is prescribed
as follows:

2. The rates indicated are exclusive of Service Tax, which will be charged extra as per prevailing tariff.
3. The plans shall be made available on regular basis.
4. The proposed plans are to be launched for customers in CDR implemented SSAs only.

5. All other Commercial Terms and Conditions of the above new plans  such  as  Registration, Security Deposit,
Installation Charges and Billing Period etc, shall remain same as applicable to “One India Plan”.
6. These plans are not applicable to Local/STD-PCO/PRI/Call Center Customers /Telemarketers/VAS content
Providers/PBX/PABX/Junction Lines/ISDN/Customers for whom group Billing is being done on one number for
various numbers. Care must be taken in the IT/Billing system to guard against misuse of plans especially the
unlimited plans.
7. The connections under these plans shall not to be provided at the same location where a PCO is working to avoid
its misuse.
8. Existing ISD Tariff shall be applicable for new Plans.
9. Advisory from Election Commission are to be followed by the  Circles. In states where elections are being held,
publicity of plans is to be done only after the expiry of “Code of Conduct”.
10. Fixed lines mean wire line telephone or WLL Telephone having telephone number ≤ 8 digits.
11. These tariff plans shall be applicable  with immediate effect after configuration of plans in respective Billing
System.
12. Field units must ensure that with introduction of these new tariff plans or any other plans offered by field units in
their respective Circle, the total number of plans in a Circle shall not exceed 25 as per TRAI guidelines.
13. All the applicable guidelines of TRAI may be followed.
14. The impact of these plans may be analyzed and feedback be submitted to this office at email-id

15. The Circular is issued based on the approval of Competent Authority in NWO-CFA file No. 25-38/2011/ NWO-CFA /
